  • ¾ cup halal chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips using a rubber spatula.
  • Using a cookie scoop or spoon, portion out the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Leave about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
